CESD is a non-profit non-governmental organisation, registered as Association of Citizens with Federal Ministry of Justice on 10.4.2000. under register number 4200624870003. CESD president is Prof.dr. Tarik Kupusovic, and vice-president is Mrs Dragana Selmanagic, M.Sc.Tech. Board Members are: Mrs Sanda Midžić, M.Sc.Tech. Mrs Irem Silajdžić, M.Sc.Envtl.Eng. Mrs Aleksandra Hasečić, journalist Dr Branko Vučijak, Ph.D. Mr Nijaz Lukovac, M.Sc.Tech Our missionThe CESD’s mission is to promote civil society values through education, awareness rising activities and development of human resources in the field of environmental protection, as well as cooperation with similar regional and international centers, thus promoting and implementing highest standards in this field and contributing to sustainable development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Program goals and activities Education and training of youth with the aim of achieving environmentally sustainable development, Promotion of educational programs for environment and sustainable development, Rising environmental awareness among youth and citizens in general, through realization of environmental projects and project that are in line with vision on sustainable development and tourism, Cooperation with citizens and local communities on identification of problems and finding solution for improvement and protection of environment, based on sustainable development principles and their active participation, Cooperation with relevant authorities, industries and organizations from the field of education and economy on tasks of interest for environmentally sustainable development, Improvement of cooperation with similar organizations in the country and abroad, in accordance with the Statute and the relevant laws, Activities on promotion of Acquis Communautaire, development of strategies, action programs, national reports and studies from the filed of environmental protection and tourism, Development and printing of material from the field of environmental protection in accordance with the relevant laws, Organization of seminars, workshops and trainings with the aim of knowledge and information exchanges, in line with our goals and mission, and Other activities that are in line with above mentioned goals and activities.
